It may be that you run a small business, and are perhaps unsure whether a web site is even necessary. Web sites do not need to be complex, large nor expensive, and even a single page may help to improve your presence in the marketplace and enable your customers to find you easily. Similarly for clubs, small organisations and charities, small web sites aid communication, attract members, and are affordable.

At Wit's End Solutions I provide a friendly, approachable, personal service that is tailored to meet the requirements of my clients. I advocate a simple, elegant approach to the design of your web site, believing that this shows your products to best advantage. If you already have a web site I will undertake necessary maintenance or re-design. If not, I offer design from the ground up, and can arrange domain registration and web hosting for you.

I don't offer pre-designed templates for you to do the work yourself, and I don't use them. Each web site is tailored to the clients requirements and hand-crafted. At our initial meeting we will discuss the requirements for your web site, and the way you want the site to look and function. From this discussion I will construct a site plan and a number of visual schematics that will suggest how the web site might look. Once you are happy I will construct the web site for you. Throughout the process, you may rest assured that you have the final say in how the design will look and work.

Most definitely NOT! Each web site I create is tailor-made to meet the needs of my client, though I will advise if I think an idea might not work, and offer guidance throughout the process.

Do you require payment in advance?

A deposit is usually required before work starts. No further payment is required until the work is complete.

How much does a web site cost?

The price will depend on the nature of the work required and the total number of pages, but typically a three or four page site will cost in the region of £350. All costs will be agreed before we start, and full details of all charges are given in the Customer Agreement for you to consider before paying the deposit. There are no hidden costs.
